About the university

The International University of Applied Sciences marries the best of German scholarship with the international focus of the English language. Founded in 1998 in Bonn, this private institution has expanded to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, and Erfurt and offers three basic program types. The first is an on-campus School of Business and Management where students can earn a bachelor's, a master's, or an MBA. The second is a dual studies program which gives students practical, hands-on experience along with classroom theory in healthcare, human resources, industry & logistics, marketing, real estate, tax & auditing, and tourism. The last program is solely online and is taught in both Englis

h and German, offering bachelor's, master's, and MBA degrees. The Bad Honnef campus of IUAS, located just outside of Bonn, is the original location and the administrative headquarters of the university. Here, students will find modern classrooms equipped with areas for practical demonstration, a cafe, a canteen, a library, and on-campus housing. Student life on campus includes all sorts of activities, sports, and social clubs, and a trip out into the city often includes a fun day at the hot springs or hiking around the ruins of Siebengebirge. Like any good German town, Bad Honnef has a castle, the Schloss Drachenburg, as well as multiple mountaintop castle ruins that offer sweeping views of the area. A quick trip into the larger city of Bonn, possible by public transportation, gives students the opportunity to tour the birthplace of Beethoven and Poppelsdorf Palace. This region of Germany holds plenty of activity and culture, perfect for young college students on their way to future success.
