About the university

Ogarev Mordovia State University, was founded in 1931 as the Agronomy Pedagogical Institute and then it gradually expanded and granted the University status in 1957. It welcomes students from different countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Oman, Iran, Iraq, Saudi, UAE and few African countries. The University’s distinctive feature is a wide range of academic programs in natural science, technical science and humanities. It encompasses all levels of education ranging from non-degree programs of high school to opportunities of further post-secondary education programs. Furthermore, the University offers bachelor's and master's degrees in various academic fields within its 9

faculties; available in the form of full-time education, evening (part-time) curriculum, and correspondence education (6 years). As for facilities and services, the university is fully equipped with modern laboratories, lecture halls, computer labs, a library, a reading room, a gym and a hostel.
