About the university

Xavier University School of Medicine (XUSOM) is a private university, and was founded in 2004. It is chartered by the government of Aruba with authorization by the Ministry of Education of Aruba to confer the Doctor of Medicine degree. Xavier University School of Medicine system-based courses are taught by distinguished doctors from the U.S. who are committed to teaching. The student to teacher ratio is 10:1, which provides students with an individualized learning environment. All labs and classrooms have state of the art equipment, including LCD projectors, charts and anatomy museums. In addition to many shopping malls, government offices and fast food restaurants are located within walkin

University Location

Oranjestad is the capital and largest city of Aruba. Oranjestad is located on the southern coast near the western end of the island country.
