The Manhattanville College is a private, co-educational liberal arts college in Purchase, New York. The college was established in 1841. It has nearly 2,700 students. As a relatively sizeable university full of historic series, Manhattanville offers Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts, Music and Bachelor of Science degrees and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Additionally, the College's School of Education offers 65 plus programs in teacher education and leadership including an Ed.D. In educational leadership, specialty area dual certification program and accelerated program. Students may also obtain provisional New York State Teaching Certification at both the undergraduate and graduate

levels. Manhattanville has a rich history of athletic success at both the team and individual levels, boasting over 100 collective regular-season and conference tournament championships and 37 NCAA Tournament appearances. The Valiants have spread the wealth throughout the program, as 14 different Valiant teams have captured at least one conference championship and 11 programs have made the NCAA Tournament in school history. As with other universities all over the country, Manhattanville College provide an Office of Student Activities (OSA) that has mission to empower, engage and educate students, also to support the mission of the college as well. For this reason OSA contributes to the creation of a vibrant campus life and student personal growth through participation in student clubs and organizations, which provide all the students an opportunity keep track of their involvement outside of the classroom, without, ignoring the student Government Association, traditions and events that all occur both on and off campus.
