About the university

Poznan University of Medical Sciences (PUMS), founded in 1919, formed as a separate institute in 1950 and gained university status in 2007, is one of the best and largest medical universities in Poland. Two medical faculties; given in both English and Polish, a Pharmacy faculty and Health Sciences faculty form the organization of the university within 4,5 and 6 years master and doctoral degree programs. Furthermore, university teaching and research is mainly based on co-operation with five clinical hospitals. In addition, housing services are provided where students have the choice of living accommodations at the University or private apartments, with newly built and equipped dorms with sin
