About the university

The University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów was established in 1996 and it is the largest and highest-ranked private university in south-eastern Poland. The structure of the University has four educational colleges – Management, Applied Computer Science, Media and Social Communication, and Medical. In addition to educational activities, it run many scientific research projects and organize numerous international scientific and industry conferences. The Campus in Kielnarowa is located in beautiful greenery on the outskirts of Rzeszow city. It was built in 2011, partly funded by the European Union as a “Development of Eastern Poland” Project. It has several buildings on site, the main parts of the complex – The Centre for International Education and The Centre for Tourism and Recreation are open for all students and visitors. Student Life at UITM is more than just lectures and classrooms. The students build friendships, learn skills, develop their professional networking, participate in various clubs, take part in talent shows and exhibitions with trips enjoyed abroad. There are plenty of activities to choose from at the University Campuses and in the city itself.

University Location

Rzeszów is the largest city in southeastern Poland. It is located on both sides of the Wisłok River in the heartland of the Sandomierz Basin. Average temperatures in summer range from 18 to 19.6 °C and in winter from −2.1 to 0 °C. In Rzeszów, you will find the most adorable Rynek (Market Square) in Eastern Europe, It is renowned for having one of the prettiest old town squares in Poland. The square is a buzz of activity with lots of bars, restaurants and cafes, a stylish City Hall, which sparkles elegantly in Rzeszów’s evening sun. Rzeszów has a huge castle just a short walk from Old Town. It is known as Lubomirski Castle and dates back to the sixteenth century. You can scale its walls and admire up close.
