About the university

In 2017, the Business and Information Technology School and the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule merged to form a private university with branches in three different German cities. The University of Applied Sciences Europe works to train its graduates in such a way that they are able to succeed in a modern, digital economy, and international employers recognize the weight of a diploma from a university with a membership in the Global University Systems. Students are able to study for a bachelor's degree or master's degree in fields such as communications, film, game design, business psychology, business management, journalism, or fitness and health. There is also a Foundation Year program

for high school graduates who haven't gained acceptance to a German university but wish to gain that acceptance. The Berlin campus of UE is located in Germany's capital city and historic center. Just two blocks from the Landwehr Canal, the campus is close enough to many of the city's landmarks for students to walk. Checkpoint Charlie is only ten minutes away, and the Brandenburg Gate is fifteen minutes away and next to the beautiful Tiergarten area and park. Here students can attend a local music festival, visit the zoo, or peruse the many art galleries and museums. At Christmas, they can walk over to Gendarmenmarkt and experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of a German Christmas market. Since the nearest metro station is just a five minute walk towards the canal, students will be able to take advantage of Berlin's public transportation in order to explore the city and beyond.
