About the university

The International University of Applied Sciences marries the best of German scholarship with the international focus of the English language. Founded in 1998 in Bonn, this private institution has expanded to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, and Erfurt and offers three basic program types. The first is an on-campus School of Business and Management where students can earn a bachelor's, a master's, or an MBA. The second is a dual studies program which gives students practical, hands-on experience along with classroom theory in healthcare, human resources, industry & logistics, marketing, real estate, tax and auditing, and tourism. The last program is solely online and is taught in both Engl

ish and German, offering bachelor's, master's, and MBA degrees. The IUAS campus in Berlin is located on the banks of the River Spree, just five minutes from Checkpoint Charlie and ten minutes from the Gendarmenmarkt square. Just beyond the square lies the Brandenburg Gate and Tiergarten park with its zoo, lake, Philharmonie Concert Hall, and surrounding art galleries and museums. The setting provides the perfect space for students to relax and unwind after classes, learn about the history of the area, and observe the unique business ventures and successes of Germany's capital city. Though Berlin is a very walkable city, the efficient U Bahn public transportation system makes it possible to explore farther and regardless of weather. Along with its placement in a stimulating location, the Berlin IUAS branch has bright and engaging professors, well-equipped classrooms, an inter-campus library system, and career coaching to help each student on their journey to success.
