About the university

Founded in 1975 as the Accountancy and Business College, Dublin Business School has quickly grown in size and reputation and has added degrees throughout the three levels of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional diploma coursework. It is also a designated institution with the Higher Education and Training Awards Council as well as the home of the European Business School. Dublin Business School pairs a strong academic education with practical skill training so graduates are able to seamlessly transition into their careers. sking. Because of the wide array of course offerings, students are able to study accounting and finance, arts, business, counseling, information technology, law, marketing, journalism, accounting, and psychology. Various levels of degrees and diplomas are available across each of these courses of study. DBS is located in the middle of downtown Dublin within walking distance of famous sites such as the Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's Cathedral, St. Stephen's Green, and Iveagh Gardens. Students can learn about the history and culture of Ireland by visiting the Little Museum of Dublin, the National Gallery, and the National Museum of Ireland-Natural History, all within fifteen minutes of campus. Through student services at the school, including those that aid international students and students with disabilities, as well as through the many clubs and societies, students are connected with extracurricular activities around the city. Since Dublin is a city brimming with possibilities, all accommodation options are available, including apartments, student residences, and home stays. A recently refurbished library, modern lecture halls, state-of-the-art laboratories, and fourteen computer labs await students on campus, assuring that they have everything they need academically, and public transportation awaits them beyond campus, assuring they are connected to all the culture Dublin has to offer.
