Wisconsin ESL Institute prepares students to be collaborative leaders in their chosen academic and professional environments by instilling in them the values of cultural competence, collaboration, and critical thinking along with their language education. Founded in 1981, WESLI has earned an excellent reputation and has a long history of facilitating a family like atmosphere on campus. Today, the school has over 30 courses across seven levels, teaching students from over 40 different countries.
WESLI is located in the heart of Madison, Wisconsin’s beautiful capital city. It is in a charming, historical building right across the street from the impressive capitol building, with easy access to entertainment, shopping, dining, and nature. Facilities include 18 classrooms with high ceilings and stone walls, some of which overlook the vibrant downtown area. The student lounge and lunchroom provide a comfortable place to study, relax, and socialize during class breaks. High speed Internet can be accessed throughout the building and the Central Public Library can be found just 2 blocks away.
The city itself is an ideal study location. It has a stunning landscape of five scenic lakes and over 250 parks, and is home to the world famous University of Wisconsin.
