Bouchereau Lingua International - BLI
As a language school in the province of Quebec, Bouchereau Lingua International is able to offer both French and English immersion programs to students from all over the world. Since opening in 1976, BLI has found success through an evolving methodology and has garnered the attention of companies such as Coca-Cola who trust the school to train their top international business personnel in English and French.
The Quebec City campus focuses on the French language and offers business French, general French, and DELF/DALF exam preparation courses. Students can choose the intensity of their study from part-time, full-time, intensive, or super-intensive. BLI also offers fun summer and winter intensives for teenagers as well as elementary and high school language programs. Host families are an available accommodation in order to help students focus on their language of choice.
The Quebec City campus of BLI focuses on French immersion in a city full of French speakers, history, and culture. The campus is located in the heart of the city so students are able to walk to local sites as well as access public transportation for farther locales. There's no better way to unwind after class than to walk along the cobblestone streets of Rue du Petit Champlain, stop in a quaint cafe for a coffee, or take in the views of the river from the Terrasse Dufferin. A quick fifteen minute walk from campus takes students to a number of museums as well as examples of historic architecture in the Chateau Frontenac and Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral, and the Old Quebec Funicular connects the upper part of the city with the riverfront. BLI staff help acquaint students with the area and plan cultural excursions and activities in order to help students make the most of their time in the city.

Though Canada is largely an English-speaking country, the province of Quebec is a French-speaking enclave full of fascinating culture and history. Quebec City is the capital of the province, situated on the St. Lawrence River where the weather brings warm summers and beautiful, snowy winters. The European history of the area is apparent in its architecture, from the stone fortifications that surround the old city to the winding cobblestone streets full of quaint cafes. Below the fortifications and along the waterfront lies the lower part of the city, connected to the upper part by famed steep staircases as well as a funicular. Visitors can walk along the Terrasse Dufferin while taking in views of the river, studying the history of the city at Battlefields Park, and basking in the luxurious architecture of the Chateau Frontenac and Notre-Dame de Québec Cathedral. Quebec City also has plenty of modern amenities, including various sports teams, skyscrapers such as Le Concorde, and multiple business districts, as well as green spaces such as Park Victoria and Montmorency Falls. The city is the perfect marriage of old-world European charm and modern commercial success, all within the hospitable and safe atmosphere of Canada's eastern seaboard.
