Etoile Institut
For over 50 years, the Etoile Institut de Langue has been welcoming students from all over the world to the heart of Paris. Students are met by kind, experienced professors who understand how to translate a love of French language and culture to their students. The Institut offers both intensive and semi-intensive French classes, private tutoring, and exam preparation for the DELF/DALF. Specialized courses are also offered for au pairs working in Paris and for students who want to use their French in their specific career, such as medicine, law, or tourism. Two residence halls are available for students, as well as rooms at the Cite University during the summer, though host families are also waiting to receive students. Students can begin classes any time of the year.
Located in the 7th Arrondissement, the Etoile Intitut is in the perfect spot for exploring all Paris has to offer. Due to its location right in the middle of all the main Parisian sites, students can easily walk North to the Louvre, South to the Luxembourg Gardens, East to Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle, and West to the Eiffel Tower. For students who wish to wander farther to Sacre Coeur or Versailles, the metro and bus systems are user-friendly. Students may wish to visit these spots in a group with other international students or alone, but either way there will be plenty of opportunities to practice their growing French vocabulary in the city of lights and love.

Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. Beyond such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century, Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral, the city is known for its cafe culture and designer boutiques along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Whether you’re lingering over a pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine or marveling at icons like the Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe, Paris offers an experience that combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and historical exhibits.
