Pine Manor College (PMC) is a private four-year liberal arts college established in 1911. It started out by being a “women - only college”, until 2014 when it started welcoming male students as well. PMC is dedicated to diversity in which students from a broad spectrum of backgrounds are welcomed. Academically, PMC offers a wide range of graduate, associate and certificate degree programs in varied fields of study across four core areas of study in Healthcare and Biomedical Sciences, Business and Management, Early Childhood Education, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Furthermore, several services and facilities are provided to all students such as; libraries, bookstores, career services,
advising and counseling services, a learning resource center, academic services, computer facilities, disability services, health services, campus safety and more. Beyond educational matters, co-curricular life is also an important part of the Pine Manor College experience, where students can take part in different clubs and organizations of their choice to fulfill all their social needs and desires.
Chestnut Hill is an affluent New England village located six miles (10 km) west of downtown Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Chestnut Hill is best known for being the home of Boston College, for hosting part of the Boston Marathon route, and for being the Collegiate Gothic canvas of landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. A popular attraction in the village is Chestnut Hill, an area of rolling green hills that over the Chestnut Hill Reservoir.
