Colorado State University (CSU) is a public research university located in Fort Collins, in the U.S. state of Colorado. The university is the state's land grant university, and the flagship university of the Colorado State University System. Colorado university has approximately 2,000 faculties in eight colleges and 55 academic departments. Bachelor degrees are offered in 65 fields of study, with master's degrees in 55 fields. As well, the University confers doctoral degrees in 40 fields of study, and a professional degree in veterinary medicine. Fort Collins is a city in northern Colorado, located in Larimer County. Situated on the Cache La Poudre River along the Colorado Front Range, Fort Collins is located 65 miles (105 km) north of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver.
