University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova is a public medical university located in the city of Craiova in southwestern Romania. The institution was originally established in 1970 as a Faculty of Medicine within the University of Craiova and became an independent university in 1998. Today, it is recognized as one of Romania’s important institutions for medical education and research.
