About the university

Medical University of Lodz (MUL), founded in 2002, is a combination of the Medical Academy of Łódź and the Military Medical Academy of Łódź. The university is organized into many faculties including; medicine, pharmacy, health sciences, physiotherapy, military medicine and nursing. MUL is the largest state-owned medical university in Poland whose mission is to: educate students in medicine and pharmacy, educate the research staff, conduct postgraduate training and participate in health care programs. In addition to its clinical activity; as the university has over 1600 hospital beds in Teaching Hospitals that provide medical services for patients, being the essential base for research work

and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
