Warsaw Medical University is a modern academic center with more than two hundred years of history. It is the largest and one of the most prestigious medical schools in Poland. Warsaw Medical University is a vibrant scientific center specializing in both clinical and theoretical medicine. It consists of eight medical faculties including, pharmacy, dentistry and health sciences. Furthermore, professional care of patients takes place among six clinical hospitals. Many services are offered such as: a library, a recruiting office, a teaching center, a sports center, foreign language clubs, IT services and many more. In addition to many student clubs and organizations meeting different interests

and needs including religion, sports, music, media, science, health… etc.

Warsaw is the capital and largest city in Poland, located on the Vistula River in the east-central region of the country. The city is a major international tourist destination and one of the wealthiest capital cities in Eastern Europe. Warsaw is referred to as “Phoenix City”, after it was completely rebuilt following the severe damage it suffered in the World War II. The Monument of the Warsaw Mermaid stands as a symbol of the city in Market Square, the center of the city’s Old Town, surrounded

by pastel buildings and open-air cafes. One significant cultural tradition in Warsaw is the festival called Wianki (Polish for Wreaths), where every year, thousands gather on the banks of the Vistula on Midsummer’s Night to commemorate their culture.
